Otoño 2005, 3° semestre / Fall 2005, 3rd semester
El proyecto consistió en desarrollar una vivienda mínima o habitáculo para una familia de tres integrantes (mamá, papá e hijo) en la azotea de un edificio de la condesa.
El habitáculo está "volando” sobre la azotea, dejando así un espacio público techado.
El primer nivel es el área pública de la vivienda: cocina, baño, comedor, sala y terraza. En el segundo nivel se encuentran las recámaras y el estudio.
This project consisted in developing a small house or habitacle for a family of three on the rooftop of an existing building.
The habitacle is “floating” over the rooftop, leaving a covered public space.
The first level is the public area of the house: kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room and terrace. The second level has the study and two bedrooms

Multifamiliar de interés social / Social housing stock in Oaxaca

El proyecto consistió en desarrollar un conjunto multifamiliar de interés social en la ciudad de Oaxaca.
La idea de este proyecto fue dejar una plaza central la cual está conformada de taludes que van creando plazas dentro de la gran plaza, retomando un poco el efecto que se crea en Monte Albán con este mismo tipo de taludes.
This project consisted in developing a social housing stock in Oaxaca City.
The main idea in this project was to leave a central plaza made out of grass slopes which at the same time create small plazas. This was inspired by the Prehispanic culture of the Zapotecans who built Monte Alban the same way.

Re-Programación de pabellón cuauhtemoc / Mall Reprogramming

El proyecto consistió en analizar un centro comercial para poder intervenir en él.
The project consisted in analyzing a mall in order to intervene in it.
El proceso de análisis fue el siguiente:

- Mapeo de la zona: se identificaron árboles y elementos cercanos con los que se hace sistema

Complejo híbrido en Polanco / Hybrid complex in Polanco
Otoño 2007, 7° semestre / Fall 2007, 7th semester
El proyecto consistió en desarrollar un edificio híbrido (que incluyera distintos usos) en la colonia Ampliación Granada, detrás de Polanco.
Esta propuesta fue la de un edificio muy esbelto de vivienda principalmente con los servicios que pueden requerir las mismas (tintorería, miscelánea, papelería, etc) y que “mete” a su terreno el mercado sobre ruedas que se pone en una de las calles a las que da el predio.
The project consisted in developing a "hybrid complex" (a building that includes different types of uses) in an ex-industrial zone of Mexico City.
The idea was to create a very thin apartment building that includes services for the people that will live there (supermarket, dry cleaning, school supplies, etc.), and also that lets the flea market, which is in a main street near by, inside the complex.

Conjunto Nacional [Sao Paulo, Brasil]: Re-Proyecto / RE-Projecting
Primavera 2008, 8° semestre / Spring 2008, 8th semester
El Conjunto Nacional, construido en el '58 por David Libeskind, tuvo y conserva una gran importancia urbana gracias a su diversidad programática (cines, tiendas, hotel, viviendas, oficinas, etc.) y a su volumetría casi purista. Este edificio estableció en su momento la topología y el uso de la Avenida Paulista.
La Avenida Paulista, y la ciudad de Sao Paulo, cincuenta años más tarde, han cambiado: la zona, más que mayor densidad programática, necesita una válvula de escape.
Este proyecto trata de la disolución calculada de lo edificado: perforando el muy sólido Conjunto Nacional para crear un parque horizontal y vertical. Las áreas sustraídas serán reemplazadas en el gigantesco espectacular que hasta ahora es una estructura vacía. Se obtuvo un módulo espacial-estructural-aparente del edificio actual y utilizando un caprichoso método geométrico se eliminaron una serie de módulos en una secuencia gradual, haciendo más porosas las zonas cercanas a la avenida paulista.
The Conjunto Nacional building (National Complex in English), built in '58 by David Libeskind, had and still conserves a great urban importance thanks to its programmatic diversity (cinema, stores, hotel, apartments, offices, etc) and its purist composition. This building established in its time the typology and land usage of Avenida Paulista.
The Avenida Paulista and the city of Sao Paulo, fifty years later, have changed: the area needs now to escape from the building's density.
This project is about the calculated dissolution of the edification: perforating the solid Conjunto Nacional to create a horizontal and vertical park. The subtracted areas will be replaced in the big advertisement on the top of the building, which is an empty structure today. This subtraction has a gradual sequence, making more porous the areas near the Avenida Paulista.
Conjunto Nacional [Sao Paulo, Brasil]: Nuevo-Proyecto / New Project
El nuevo proyecto invade la cuadra trasera del Conjunto Nacional.
Se quiso dar una imagen monumental al cruce de dos calles importantes, la Avenida Paulista y Rua Augusta, y librar el desnivel de 12 metros que produce la topografía natural de la ciudad.
Se reimplementan características esenciales del edificio de Libeskind: la magnitud, la composición purista, la proporción de horizontalidad y verticalidad, el uso mixto y el basamento permeable. También se conservaron los intereses iniciales del equipo: el respeto al proyecto original, el parque vertical y el vacío como valor compositivo principal tomando en cuenta la unidad fundamental del re-proyecto. La posición del nuevo edificio en conjunto con su antecesor coincide con la traza de la ciudad.
The new project invades the back block of Conjunto Nacional.
It was very important to give a monumental image to the two main streets that are next to the project, Avenida Paulista and Rua Augusta, and clear the 12 meter level the natural topography of the city produces.
Essential characteristics of Libeskind's building will be implemented, such as the magnitude, the purist composition, the horizontal and vertical proportions, mixed uses and permeable basement. The initial interest of the first project (re-projecting) will also be conserved: respect to the original project, horizontal and vertical park, and the subtraction of the solid building. The position of the new building coincides with the city plan.

Casa habitación en las Lomas / House in Las Lomas
Primavera 2009, 9° y 10° semestre / Spring 2009, 9th and 10th semester
Este proyecto fue realizado durante el semestre de primvera y el periodo de verano 2009.
El terreno elegido, es un terreno baldío que da a Avenida Reforma, y el cual tiene árboles en casi toda la superficie que han crecido de forma natural con los años. Este proyecto está diseñado de tal forma que se respeten gran parte de estos árboles.
El diseño de exteriores se concentra solamente en el área de acceso al predio y en la azotea.
El inmueble está orientado hacia el suroeste, aprovechando así la mayor cantidad de horas de sol, y es hacia este lado que se decide dejar el jardín para que el muro de colindancia no obstruya el paso de la luz del sol dentro de la casa.
This project was developed during spring semester and the summer period of 2009.
The selected lot, next to Avenida Reforma, is an empty lot that has trees in almost the whole surface that have been growing in a natural way through the years. This project is designed in a way that these trees are being respected.
The landscape design is applied in the acces area to the house and in the rooftop.
The house is orientated to the southwest to take advantage of the most sun hours possible, and it is where it is decided to leave the garden so the neighbor's wall won't stop the sunlight from gettinginto the house.
